Material changes don't get much more extreme than PVC to acetal. It can, quite literally, be an explosive combination!
If you must switch from one to the other, you're usually told to follow the PVC with something neutral like polyethylene. That's not needed with Barrel Blitz Universal: it gets rid of the PVC without the need for that extra time-consuming step.
Start by emptying the machine of PVC. Then, purge through with Barrel Blitz Universal (the instructions will give you a guide to how much you need) until it looks and smells of Barrel Blitz Universal. After that, you'll know it's safe to start using acetal.
You can sit back in comfort, knowing that it won't go off with a bang.
